Retailers are able to increase the price of supplier's products, but not decrease them. If the retailer increases the price of a supplier's product, any surplus on the changed price is kept by the retailer.
We give retailers the option to increase the price of a supplier's products as some retailers offer site-wide discounts. For example, if the retailer offers 50% off all products, but want to keep the same margin on supplier products, they're able to double the price of the supplier's product on their site.
