Carro is loaded asynchronously, and only after all of your brand’s page and content has loaded. So no, Carro will not slow down your site at all (in non-programmer language: Carro won't affect your page loading speeds because it only works after the page has loaded). It is very similar to google analytics (actually much lighter).
